looks like this....if you wanted a more specific species. http://www.easterncoloradowildflowers.com/_c_3frame.htm i know it's a colorado wildflower site, but i'm sure the flowers are the same

Another very cool shot. I don't recognise these flowers. What was the rest of the plant like? Perhaps someone in the US can help ID it.
