Really pretty shots - I love the second photo!
I appreciate all the help identifying this cute little bird. I am unsure where it nested before as I was visiting for only a week this past summer.

That's about right - they are in Estes...They are gorgeous in flight - aerial acrobats! This might be a young bird...did they nest there last year? Watch this year - they nested in a hole in our house on Lookout Mountain.
This bird was so interesting to see. It was quite small, under 5 inches.
I believe it's a violet-green Swallow - with that coloration. Not positive - we see them in the foothills. Beautiful shot!
