Brown bear (grizzly) large mammal, omnivore, large claws used mostly for digging, shoulder hump defines species.

Habitat:

Varied, but mostly tundra. More aggressive than black bears possibly due to lack of hiding or retreating environment.

Hi, the image is of Russian grizzlies which is only a place holder till I can get my server running again. Im replacing with my own image of grizzlies in bc.
Hi GeraldShaffer! You've mapped these bears to the Vancouver area but the image wears a tag with Kamchatka Russia. What's the story behind this picture? Thanks for clarifying this for us.
