That makes more sense, thanks for clarifying.
I guess they're not average geckos. This picture was taken at a wildlife sanctuary. (http://www.visitzealandia.com/site/zealandia_home/) While there are probably thousands free roaming in the reserve, these were a group put on display — I'm not sure if the Wellington Green is quite so gregarious under normal circumstances.
I agree, very cool! It's not often you see geckos all bunched up like that in a group.
