Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized deer with large ears and black tail top

Habitat:

In a small valley near a spring. With most of the grassland flooded we are seeing deer more often than usual. There is a nice stand of tall canary grass and the lighting helped hide them. Had it not been for the white face markings I might have passed them by

Notes:

This was a family of three that have been hanging near my property since the flooding
