Field Notes

Description:

Earwig. Unsure of exact species. Rather intimidating to have on my hand. Those pintchers look mean.

Habitat:

Milkweed, near a pond. Tall grasses also present.

Notes:

Freaked out many of the kids at the summer camp I was volunteering at.
