Description:

The genus Annona is a member of the Custard apple tree family. The species bears edible fruit, popular in southeast Asia and other places. A. muricata is native to the Caribbean and Central America but it is now widely cultivated in tropical climes throughout the world. This spotting features emerging fruit.

Habitat:

This tree growing in a yard & garden in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
