Description:

They can be pretty big, over 50cm long, weighing up to 8kg.

Habitat:

This one was on Italian part of the Maritime Alps, around 2300m altitude, close to the entry in the Carstic System Piaggia Bella.
You can find them in the high mountains of Europe from 800 to 3200m.
