hairy crab spider
Sidymella hirsuta
-37.888, 145.37
Field Notes
Description:
Unaccustomed to being noticed, this tiny spider hardly moved, then shuffled around the other side of the stem. When coaxed onto a young Pomaderris leaf to assist my cantankerous auto focus, this brown kneed stem colored spider became more visible.
Habitat:
On the stem of a pomaderris tree.
Notes:
Spider #6
