Hope to have some information on this guy soon! Quality information on the Owl Butterflies is hard to come by. There is some on wikipedia, but I'll only turn to that as a last resort, if I can't find anything else soon.
Notes:
This one was not actually found in the wild, but in a place called "The butterfly house." in Key West, Florida, where you can go to learn about butterflies, as well as go into a greenhouse-like habitat that they set up, where you can see the butterflies as they fly all around you. Owl Butterfly was just one of many species they had.
