Description:

Our guide at this point did tell us what this was but I don't remember the name - some kind of grasshopper maybe? It blended itself in to it's surrounding looking like moss.

Spotted in the Tirimbina Rainforest, near Sarapiqui, Costa Rica

The closest match is some sort of katydid nymph, (Tettigoniidae).
