Hello Melanie & welcome to Noah! These are beautiful aren't they?! I've never heard of them called Tulip Tree before. Is that a commonly used name in the States? There is a closely related US native that is given that name here in the UK: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liriodendron_tulipifera
