Thanks StarLeaf, the butterflycircle site is great ! Thanks again for sharing !
Glad to be of help. There's another useful site which I use frequently for identifying butterflies: http://www.butterflycircle.com/checklist%20V2/CI/index.php/start-page/startpage
Hi StarLeaf, thank you so much for the ID ! That's it, it is a Cycad Blue. And thanks for sharing the useful link even !
Sure looks like cycad blue. Take a look here (scroll down): http://butterflycircle.blogspot.com/2011/05/observation-notes-on-variability-of-two.html
Hmmm, on a second thought, it might be a Long-tailed blue even ! :D
I think its one of Tailed Blue... Now I do not have Isaac's Kehimkar's book with me.
Thanks AshishNimkar, will google around to learn on the species and if possible to get an exact id name of this one. :)
This family is commonly known as Blues.
Thanks AshishNimkar. Yes, it is kinda small. Made a few approached to it before can get a few shots. A bit shy, slight movement can cause them to fly away. Thank you for providing me the name of this butterfly family.
Great work... Lycaenidae family of butterflies are challenging to spot... their wings are smaller than out toe's nails.
