Field Notes

Habitat:

These two egg masses were on consecutive leaves (Philodendron jodavisianum)
Edge of the forest close to Caño Palma, Barra del Colorado Wildlife Refuge.

Notes:

We're seeing three different species of tree frog in a very small area, 2 Smilisca species and Hyla rufitela. I think both sets are of the same species, but at different stages - the more advanced looked like the 2nd photo the previous day.
