Description:

Small plants, usually 8 - 22 cm tall. This plants is member of Orchids family. Found in the ground.

Habitat:

Tropical rain forests.

Ooh, that's a bit special Wendy, thanks! The seed pods of this leafless, fungal parasite (mycoheterotrophic) are beautifully coloured which is quite unusual in the Orchid family. I've added a link in the references to a picture of the flowers.
