Description:

A medium-sized butterfly - ~8 cm across from wingtip to wingtip, black wings with a white/yellowish segmented band across the tops of the wings, white/yellowish spots in a pattern around the edges of the wings, stripes on the head, and a small amount of red coloration at the tail of the wings.

Habitat:

A small patch of flowers outside the main temple entrance of a Wat in Chiang Mai.
