Field Notes

Description:

Medium-sized to large lizards with cylindrical bodies, strong, well developed limbs, the digits 5-5, and medium-sized tails. Cycloid scales underlaid by bony plates (osteodermes). Locally called "Dubang" in Tawi-Tawi Province, Philippines.

Habitat:

Lower portion of Mount Bongao, an elevated moist forest in Bongao Island.

Hi Alan Cajes, I am not 100% sure, but I think your Lizard could be Eutropis multifasciata (KUHL, 1820) as per my ID suggestion. If not exactly correct, it might give you an idea where to start looking. John B.
