Yes, you're right. In part of Africa, that plant has been sold through market for it's beautiful flower. and you're welcome ... :)
Wow I didn't know that, just thought it's a really beautiful flower. But don't worry this wasn't in the wild, found this growing on a pond. Thanks for the info anyway;)
Maybe you also have known about this one. I think you should concern for it occurrence in Singapore. It is a really invasive species, worst aquatic weed that has been listed as 100 worst invasive species all over the world. See: http://www.k-state.edu/withlab/consbiol/IUCN_invaders.pdf
