Field Notes

Description:

Black turtle with ridges on its shell. Unlike most turtles, it has a long tail. Another cool fact about these reptiles: snapping turtles have to be underwater to swallow!

Habitat:

All over the US! (Or in these pictures, my house )

Notes:

My pet turtle is named Sheldon. He is very cute and does not bite. He's only a couple months old. He's SUPER CUTE!!!!
