Field Notes

Description:

These three Turkey Vultures were perched on top of utility poles with their wings spread. Every time one spread it's wings, the other two did the same. They stayed open for about a minute or two at a time, and seemed to be facing north with the sun at their back.

Habitat:

Utility poles in a field bordering forest and pond.
