Field Notes

Description:

Large female spider (see Photo No 2 for size - only the body is approx 5 to 6 cm; male does not exceed 5 to 6 mm), black legs, and white and yellow dorsal side.

Habitat:

Hotel garden on edges of protected primary forest.

Notes:

Since long time, I'm trying to organise my photo archives, and I'm almost at the end - but some very old gems keep popping out .... such as this one, taken during my stay in Lanka end of the last century.
