Description:

Also known as Hammer Euphyllia, Anchor Bubble Coral, Torch Coral, Ridge Coral, Hammerhead Coral and Hammer Coral.

The tubular tentacles of the polyps vary in color from green to brown, with paler edges. The edges are bean-shaped. They feed on plankton.

Habitat:

Found on rocky reefs, from 15 to 30m deep, forming small to very large coral colonies. Widespread in the Indo-Pacific region.
