It was a reference to reagan's trickle down economics....give to the rich and the money will eventually trickle down to the poor.
I agree totally! I love that everyone can have input here...it keeps it real. I don't know of any other platform where anyone can contribute like this! However, who is reaganomics? (or are you just using it as a general term? I DO know who Reagan is!) ;-)
Christy, now that you are here associated with Project Noah you will begin to see that many websites, including scientific websites, have incorrect sgenus and species information listed. The main goal here is to make sure that all the I.D.'s are 100% correct so we have a perfect compendium of information. the correct information will eventually trickle down to the people like Reaganomics.
Thanks for all the info...I guess the tour guide was half right...pretty sad when we are relying on them to give us the right identifications and they are wrong!! At least he knew it was a mangrove tree!
many sites here in costa rica refer to a type of mangrove called "pineapple" and they directly state that the genus and species are Avicennia germinans which is generally known as the black mangrove. However, the actual name of the mangrove is the "Tea Mangrove" which is shown in this photo.
