Description:

OK...need help confirming these 4 mangrove uploads...Our tour guide labeled them white, black, red and pineapple...I would love either a confirmation or correction on them please!

Thanks, I'll check it out...looks at first glance that there is no "Pineapple" Mangrove!! ;-)
Hello Christy, this article might help you to ID them. Apparently there are 7 species of Mangrove tree in Costa Rica. It lists them by their binomial name so a quick Google image search should yield photos of each one to compare with yours: http://www.costaricaoutdoors.com/articles/flora-fauna/mysterious-mangroves.html
