Description:

This is really quite large compared to the other cotton stainer type bugs I have seen recently. It measures about 1" long. This may be the layer of the red eggs two spottings earlier.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica 9 weeks into the 6 month dry season.
