Not a barn owl, barn owls(tyto alba) have a white disk like face
As indicated by Christy this is not a barn owl. It is Bubo capensis, the Cape Eagle-Owl.
Beautiful bird! It's not a barn owl - with those eyes and feather tufts, probably an eagle-owl of some type. Looks a lot like our Great Horned Owls, but not with the orange eyes.
