Field Notes

Description:

These eggs are quite tiny. The measure about 2mm long from base to white top. I saw a cotton stainer type bug really near by. They were laid on an old broken screen.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica 9 weeks into the 6 month dry season.

ok, Larry.....I have been searching for an ID for these eggs. What's fun, is that I found your spotting on Google!! Gonna have go determine what insect laid these so that the gazillion people who search using Google will know too!! :)

Possibly assassin bug eggs (family Reduviidae).
