I think this is weirdly beautiful, but I worry that the paint is toxic to the elephant. Fascinating first spotting -- welcome to Project Noah.
Those pesky hippies. @Ismael Asian elephants mostly love to be decorated and take part in festivals. If it's the fact that it's obviously part of a circus or similar then I agree poor elephant but not because it's decorated. The worst thing by far is that the places they would naturally be able to live are getting fewer and smaller every day.
