Those shots were taken at night from the inside. Moth was on the outside of a window. The blue is a reflection from our TV. The white in the third pic is the reflection of our ceiling. No photographic skill here I just take a lot of shots trying to get my iphone to focus.

Hi Tom, what a great picture. I really like the way you show just the moth with nothing other than a dark background. I often try to get that effect, with varying degrees of success or failure (usually failure!). Are there any special settings that you use to get that effect?
