Field Notes

Description:

A small brown leaf beetle about 6 mm long. Elytra were rough with ridges and minute black projections. Eyes and antennae appeared black. <br> The red specks on one side of the elytra could be mites - possibly phoretic.

Habitat:

Spotted on wattle in a local reserve.

Notes:

Not sure of species, possibly T.sloanei. <br> Family: Chrysomelidae
