Description:

Thanks for the ID Help! American Herring Gull

Habitat:

High Mountains 8500 ft. 11 Mile reservoir, Park County, Colorado.

Notes:

Look carefully at the back round, the small black spots are gigantic mosquito's, a few seconds after I took the photo we had to literally run for shelter....like an Alfred Hitchcock film!
