Field Notes

Description:

Male Elk, was tucked back into some woods off the about 30 yrs from the roadside

Habitat:

Along tree line of woods and grassy meadows.

Notes:

Location was in inside Yellowstone National Park, approximately 10/20/2011. We entered the park through the west entrance and headed south. We spotted the male elk halfway to Lower Geyser Basin
