Description:

Ctenosaura similis are the largest Ctenosaura species, some growing to 5 feet long. The coloration of adults can range from gray (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8617800) to bluish gray (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8642961) and orange with infusions of red & peach around the head during breeding season. Most have 4 -12 dark dorsal bands. Juveniles are typically green with brown
markings, although all brown hatchlings have been recorded as well.

Habitat:

Native to: Mexico - Central America. Ruins, stone walls, rocky open slopes and branches of large trees along the open borders of the forests.
