it does not have flowers and it is green with blue berries. it blooms in spring.it smells like basil.

Habitat:

ohio.

Notes:

my plant is not a good plant for a pollinator because i only saw one bug.

Hi Leo, one possibility that comes to mind is the Hoverfly. This insect is an important pollinator. Could you do some research on the Hoverfly and see if you and spot the insect you saw again to see if they are indeed the same?
