Description:

Snake had captured this squirrel in a tree and fell hard enough to catch my attention as I was getting into my car. I walked over to find out what it was and ended up distracting the snake and the squirrel got away.

It's a Texas Rat Snake fo' sho'
Poor thing! I hope it's recovered from it's ordeal! I've recently learned that the majority of wild squirrels only live for a year due ti predation.
