Notes:

I think this is an Assassin Fly with its prey — I'm not sure what the prey species is? I chose the name 'Assassin Fly' over 'Common Robber Fly' because I think it sounds a little cooler, but there's also something kind of creepy about a predatory 'robber' as well. I spied it on top of our roof, near the weird weedy garden in the picture.
