Patient Racoon

Notes:

Trying to catch our lost kitty we trapped this raccoon. It was pretty exciting to catch a real live raccoon. I thought he was going to be freaking out (a lot of the cats we caught were), but he was really calm. It looked like he was just taking a nap. When I opened the trap up he slowly got up and sauntered back out into the night, probably to sift through the neighborhood trash.

How funny! One of our neighbors caught a skunk in a live trap with the plan of releasing it away from his property - he didn't consider the full implications & ended up getting skunked when he approached the trap!
