Field Notes

Habitat:

A coastal species and are only occasionally seen very far inland. Look for them in plowed fields, garbage dumps, parking lots, beaches, and shorelines.

Notes:

Probably the most common gull here in South Florida Beaches. Today however, this one in non-breeding plumage was all alone feeding among some Sanderlings.
