Description:

The grey fantail (Rhipidura albiscapa) is a small insectivorous bird found in Australia.

A smallish bird very active, flying close to the ground and catching insects in flight. Sometimes put on an amazing aerobatic show, chasing an insect. Short flights and then land in a similar place, then off again.

Habitat:

Urban garden on the edge of native coastal bushland in Phillip Island.
