Field Notes
Description:
Branches: good colour, roughly 8 cm growth, some debarking, snow damage
Trunk: some yellowing, but not much scarring, a few vertical scars
Foliage: snow damage, colour change, curling, torn leaves
Side note: I noticed lots of ants
Habitat:
Close to water on a bed of mulch, grown with two other trees of same species, open area besides water lots of sunlight, area was slightly mounted but mostly flat
Notes:
Too much water in area and cold damage, in an area favoured by birds
