Field Notes
Description:
This long dark delicate insect with white tips on antennae and abdomen landed momentarily on the tiny flowers of 2 adjacent plants. (One was a 'Dusty miller' I think) It looked a gasteruptid type wasp with it's white bands and especially in flight. About 32mm long.
Habitat:
In a local nature reserve adjoining a large national park.
