Ha ha ha. Yes, occasional mermaid, dancer, but mostly just a nature girl. If you go to Duette - please make sure you go on a weekend that is *not* a Hunt weekend. If you go on a Saturday, the gates will be open and you can drive through. Otherwise you can hike or bike in. Hunt weekends are the only time we're not open. Hi Ceherzog, It *is* nice to see a fellow Sarasotian! This shot was indeed taken near Duette Road. Manatee County manages Duette Preserve right there - over 20,000 acres of conservation land. June-October are some of the best months to see the butterflies out there.
