Field Notes

Description:

Our Mushroom has a Orange cap and the Stalk is egg shell color. Our Mushroom also has a very slimy coat. Our Mushroom has just about no seeds. The area that we found the Mushroom is a dry with crispy fall leaves every where and chunks of soggy wood. The plant sight was in a wet area. It was on a bit of a ridge. Our mushroom width is about 2cm and our hight is about 3cm. It had spines near the cap.The stalk color is white like the first snow fall. The Gills were attached to the mushroom it self.

Habitat:

The Mushroom was in a area with lots of oak,birch,pine,spruce and on the ground there were a lot of pine needles. And snow on the ground.

Notes:

When we went outside we did a couple activities such as looking for mushroom sites. After that we went out and did a list of different type and listed the mushroom colors. Finally we went out and get the mushrooms in a bucket and check the spores color then we did Project Noah.
