Thank you! I believe you are right I took a look and it appears to look more like the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. Thanks for your comment and we are having a lot of fun with it.

In that light, I'd suggest that while this butterfly looks like a monarch, it is probably an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus).
