This is surely a juvenile of one of the Storeria sp. I agree it is likely a red-bellied snake over a brown snake, but it is spelled incorrectly in the ID suggestion and they failed to include a reference. So here is the correct spelling, Storeria occipitomaculata, and here is a reference link, http://srelherp.uga.edu/snakes/stoocc.htm
