Field Notes

Description:

Skink show down with a green lizard. The skink is a dark brown/purple color with a fade to a red orangish snout. I am pretty sure he did not have a blue tail.

Habitat:

Spotted near wooden area on a brick wall.

Notes:

Anyone know what type of skink this is?

Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

It is either a Common Five-Lined Skink or a Broad-headed Skink, without counting the labial scales it is hard to know. Judging by his jaw size I would say Five-lined Skink.
