Wow, I did not know the plants were dyed..... Glad I didn't buy one!
Both comments above are totally true.... Also they will not bloom that color again. Not a sound business practice....
Yep, I think they inject the dye into the flower stem. Just saw an Anthurium given the same treatment and there are Dendrobium orchid hybrids which look like the whole plant is almost dripping with the stuff. Beautiful blue, though I believe the commercially available blue orchids are actually dyed that color!
