Description:
This Great Blue Heron belongs to a species that surpasses all other North American herons in size. It has black and white stripes down its front with a grey neck with long plume like feathers.
Habitat:
Its habitat consists of salt and freshwater wetlands and are highly adaptable, therefore may be found in highly developed areas as long as it holds a body of water abundant with fish.
