Field Notes

Description:

This spider was very big, about the size of a golf ball. It had very distinctive yellow and black markings, with long brown legs. It's web was very thick, and stringy.

Habitat:

I located this spider in long grass, in the Guelph Arboretum.

Notes:

I found many other spiders of the same species around the location of this one, but this one was by far the biggest.
