Field Notes

Habitat:

The koala is found in open eucalypt forests and lightly wooded regions from south-east Queensland to south-east South Australia. Because their food is restricted to the leaves of certain eucalypts, they live almost exclusively in the highest branches of these trees.

You reminded me article in latest NG magazine... its on Koalas injured in Road accidents.
And they are so hard to spot...You can post it in "Marsupials of the World" Mission..
Lovely shot MacChristiansen! You may want to enter this spotting into the Koala diaries mission: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/6520509
